(KB 2113) Troubleshoot 3G Dongle connectivity on X15?

Note: If your compatible 3G dongle does not connect automatically then kindly follow the steps below:

To get the compatible 3G Dongle list for the Slate X15 click here

First connect the 3G Dongle with the supplied OTG cable to the tablet.
Step 1:

Touch the App drawer menu located at the centre-bottom of your screen.

Step 2:

Enter into settings

Step 3:

Click on More

Step 4:

Click on Mobile Networks

Step 5:

Enable the Data access over Mobile network

Step 6:

Click on Access Point Names

Step 7:

Enable the relevant network

Step 8:

If you are unable to select the correct APN network, select New APN from the menu

Step 9:

Fill the correct details that you will get from your network operator

Step 10:

Wait for 1 to 2 minutes for the 3G dongle to be connected. Once it is connected you can see the sign here. You can check the 3G network is connected successfully
