(KB 2134) Briefing about Anaglyph 3D Technology

Introduction:-

These are the simplest types of 3D glasses. The lenses have two different colours usually Red and Blue. But other colour combinations can be used such as Cyan and Magenta. The coloured lenses of the glasses filter each frame to its designated eye corresponding the colour differences in the 3D movie.

Advantage:-

⇒These are available at a low price. There is no need for any special display for watching Anaglyph 3D. It works with any colour television set whether it is old or new. Anaglyph is the only stereoscopic technology that can be printed in magazine or use to print photographs. You can use any standard display or even print a Anaglyph picture on the paper.

How it works?

Perhaps the easiest way to view 3D images is to separate the right and left image using colors. In this type of 3D technology, there are two separate views that largely supplant  through Red and Blue coloured glasses and the image looks overlapping or doubled and blurry.  The lenses separates the left and right eye content by color filtering. Each only sees the image intended for that eye. This is called Anaglyph 3D Technology.
